It all starts in our communities. Grassroots suicide prevention is at the heart of what we do at Derby & Derbyshire Baton of Hope.

One of our aims is to work closely with local communities, helping to connect businesses and organisations with projects that make a real difference to suicide prevention.

We’re excited to share our first step in this journey. Together with Fleet Arts, we’ve been able to part-fund a brilliant project with Belper Shed .

This project brings men together through creativity, building bird boxes that will feature poems around mental health and suicide prevention.

This is just the beginning. Following the Baton of Hope tour, we want to create more opportunities like this, working with local businesses and organisations to bring funding and donations directly into their communities.

If you’re a business or organisation interested in partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you: info@batonofhopederbyderbyshire.co.uk.
